Public Chats & Media

TeleVIP supports both private and public communication, including public channels and groups. Public chats are stored in the cloud, and any data shared in these spaces is encrypted in both transit and storage. However, content posted in public forums is accessible to everyone.

Phone Number & Contacts

TeleVIP uses phone numbers as unique identifiers to simplify switching from other messaging platforms while keeping your social connections intact. With your consent, we sync your contacts to notify you when one of them joins Telegram. We only store the contact’s name and phone number, and no additional information is saved.

Location Data

To provide location-based features like Nearby and Live Location, we may use your device’s location. This data is only accessed while using these features and is not stored. You can grant background location access for a better experience outside the app, though this is optional. Basic location access permissions will suffice while using the app.
